Course Summary

Marketing is a dynamic and essential discipline that plays a central role in the development and sustainability of modern businesses. In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, marketing increasingly shapes managerial thinking across industries. This course is an introduction that aims to explain the role and function of marketing within an organization’s activities and to present the main marketing tools used in business. This course will enable students to:

  • Be aware of the complex and evolving nature of contemporary marketing, shaped by consumer and market responses
  • Understand the foundational principles of marketing and its strategic importance within an organization
  • Analyze the product–market relationship
  • Identify core concepts of strategic marketing and how to apply them in real business contexts
  • Distinguish the marketing mix actions

By the end of the course, students will be equipped to think critically about marketing challenges and apply strategic marketing tools in practical, decision-making scenarios.
